Llanwddyn Community Council are actively involved in the local community, offering support, advice and help where it is needed.
The council area has a population of approximately 205 registered voters (as at Jan 2020). It covers the whole of Lake Vyrnwy and the surrounding area, including the village of Llanwddyn which is split over two locations , one adjacent to the Lake Vyrnwy dam and one at Abertridwr.
