Please note you cannot swim in the lake as it is a working reservoir and all water activities can only be launched from the boathouse.
If you prefer to stay on land there are walks for all levels of abilities around the lake. You can pick up leaflets and find about walks in the gazebo at the end of the dam.
You can find delicious food on site. Choose from a meal or drink on the terrace at The Lake Vyrnwy Hotel, you can have a variety of sandwiches, snacks and ice cream at Artisans Cafe or if you are on the go you can get a wide variety of hot and cold takeaway food from Dafarn Newedd Village Stores whilst you fill your car up with fuel.
